Many hotels including the 5 star ones in the state drop their rates up-to 50% during the monsoon season. Most of the clients of BounzD in the hospitality sector have started facing the heat this monsoon season. The number of enquiries they receive including ones they receive through BounzD have reduced drastically.  Till now the drop in enquiries through BounzD have been about 40% and the drop in the tradional walk in and phone-in enquiries have dropped by more than 65%. It is expected to drop down more in the days ahead according to the hotel management. The hotel management have been working on various packages like reduced room rates, combo packages and discounts to regular monsoon visitors to put a check on the reduction in the number of tourists visiting.
